The tone for the evening was set with incredible paper goods, which combined classic touches and contemporary design. The invitation, a thin, transparent acrylic piece, printed in gold foil, was layered on a custom digital print of a contemporary painting and wrapped with navy wax cord. Similar elements were echoed in the day-of paper goods, keeping every aspect of the design cohesive.
The overall design featured a bold color palette of marsala, sapphire, gold, smoke, onyx and plum, and kept the overall theme feeling lush, vibrant and romantic. Key elements included floral canopies, twinkle light hedging, and pillar candles of varying heights placed on gold acrylic pedestals. The hedging added a sense of intimacy to the ceremony space, and a soft contrast to the modern black and gold chameleon chairs.
Post ceremony, guests were invited to the lower level and were greeted with two elegant onyx bars, square cocktail tables draped in navy velvet linens, and bar stools matching the ceremony chairs. Guests were thrilled to see the space, originally used for the ceremony, transformed. They dined beneath luscious structures covered with vibrantly colored florals and abundant greenery. Glass globes were used to light the structures and reflected the light beautifully.
Following the dinner reception, guests were led back downstairs to a band playing in front of a custom black painted steel trellis, and immediately began to dance under the oversized disco ball.
