Longtime friends Megan and Ronald were each other’s prom dates in high school, and Ronald knew that he would marry Megan one day. That special day turned out to be 7/7/17, when they eloped at San Francisco City Hall with just four guests present. Following their ceremony, they went on a mini adventure throughout the city with their photographer, Meg Smith. She captured the newlyweds at some of their favorite landmarks, including a stunning vista of the Golden Gate Bridge.
For their reception, we transformed the private dining room at the Spruce restaurant in Laurel Village. We designed a romantic atmosphere with blush pillar and tapered candles and blooms in shades of soft pink, peach, and cream. Swiss dot table linens, accented with specialty dotted china, added to the feminine feel. We custom-painted “flower frog” place card holders to give them a brass effect that complemented the brass vases and candleholders. Megan, Ronald, and their guests enjoyed an opulent eight-course dinner, followed by slices of sea salt and caramel wedding cake.
